Home Depot Workshop
This past Saturday the kids attended the Free Kids Workshop at Home Depot. The first Saturday of every month Home Depot has a FREE kids workshop where they build a wood project all by themselves. This last Saturday they made a window birdhouse. It was so neat! One side of the birdhouse is made from plexiglass so that when you suction cup it to the window you can see inside. We out all three birdhouses on our big windows in the school room. We're hoping to see some birdies soon. The kids also each got their very own orange Home Depot apron, a certificate, a snack, and a pin for completing their project. they had a great time, and you can bet we're going back next month. I found out that Lowes also does kids workshops on the second and fourth Saturdays. We might have to check that out too! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for FREE fun!

Luke's First Tooth
I have been waiting to post this, hoping to get a good picture of Luke's first tooth. No such luck. Last Thursday night, he was chewing on my finger when I felt something sharp. Sure enough, there was the top of Luke's first tooth! He won;t let us get a good look at it without tricking him, so no pictures just yet. It has been VERY slow coming in, and still is barely above the gum line. Last night was a little rough, as Luke was up and down endless times during the night, and was very fussy. He is still waking to nurse during the night, and trying to break him of it only awards us with an hour of screaming till I finally give in! He is definitely the most stubborn of our kids! :) I'm thinking our night of no sleep was probably due to the teething issues, but I'm also looking for signs of an ear infection. Our babies tend to get ear infections associated with the teething issues. I'm praying for better sleep tonight. Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty who for now has blessed us with these.

The Tale of a Toad Named "Jumps"
Last Friday the kids discovered a toad in the backyard. We often have toads in our Coi Pond, but they hide very well and most of the time the kids don't even know they're there. As usual, Kylie was the first to dive in after it. She has such a love for animals, as you can see from the video!! She carried the toad talking to it, for quite awhile that day. John David wasn't to keen on touching it, but Caitlyn was not squeamish. Eventually, "Jumps", as he was aptly named, escaped, much to the dismay of the kids. It's times like these that I am reminded of how incredible and free it is to be a kid. The joy, curiosity, and pure innocence on their faces makes you want to jump right in there with them! As much as I felt sorry for the poor toad, I couldn't help but bask in their excitement. Enjoy the video! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for all creatures great and small.

Lukey Goes Snorkling
Luke loves his bathtime! The other night I tried letting him sit up in the bath, and he loved it, splashing the water with his hands and feet. Jeremy snapped a few pictures when we tried the goggles on him. We couldn't hardly stop laughing enough to take the pictures! Luke didn't seem to think it was very funny.
