National Zoo ....the rest of the story

Here's the second installment of the pictures from the National Zoo. As the day wore on, the rain just got worse. Poor Caitlyn kept praying for the rain to stop to no avail. I am happy to say that she never lost faith though. Every time one of the kids would complain about being cold or wet, i would just say, "but we had lunch with the elephants!" Trying to stay positive, and completely ignoring the fact that the stench in the elephant house was nauseating! Over all, we had a good time, and enjoyed the family outing.

National Zoo

My sister took some great pictures while we were at the national Zoo on Monday. I've divided them into two posts (one today, and one tomorrow), because it's so many. Here's the first installment. Our much anticipated day at the zoo, turned into a cold and rainy day. Nevertheless, we persevered through the weather and were determined to enjoy it. Jeremy created one-of-a-kind rain gear for the girls out of Hefty trash bags! Our highlight of the day was lunch time. Even though the weather was crappy, and it was cold, we got to have lunch in the Elephant House with the elephants! How cool! Staying positive!

Luke's Dedication/John David Gets Baptized

Sunday was a pretty big day for the Knutson Klan. Not only was it special for us to have Clay and Andrea at church with us, but Luke was dedicated, and John David was baptized! Even more exciting? Our Preacher allowed Jeremy to baptize John David! It was incredible, and such an emotional moment for us all. Luke did very well, and even let Preacher hold him without fussing. John David accepted the Lord as his Savior a few weeks back. It was such a sweet and sincere moment. He's been so excited about getting baptized, and wasn't scared at all to go under the water. Here are a few pictures that my sister took for us. Enjoy! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for two milestones in our family's lives!

Good Morning

Good morning! We had a great time at the National Zoo yesterday with Andrea and Clay. I'll post pics as soon as I get them loaded. Andrea and Clay are leaving this morning, so I'll catch up on my posting later today. :( Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty who for now has blessed us with these.
