Jeremy took this picture this past weekend of John David giving his fiercest glare. He was also showing his muscles! :) Too cute! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for my boys!

Jeremy For President
A friend of mine sent this to me, and I thought it was hilarious! Enjoy!
There's an effort to elect an unknown random person as President... and it's someone we know! Watch this online video about the surprising new nominee:

John David and Uncle Mason
I came across this picture of John David and Jeremy's brother, Mason, and thought I would post it. John David was lucky enough to get a chance to visit his uncle in Wisconsin this summer. He had a great time, and all we've heard about since is his Uncle Mason, and Grandma Knutson and her dogs! He is very excited that we will get to see them in less than a week!

Chewa-what?!
John David has been a bit obsessed with Star Wars lately. Saturday while Jeremy was up in the attic getting down our fall and winter clothes, he came across his Chewbacca mask from a few Halloweens ago. He brought it down to show John, who thought it was pretty cool. Make sure you take a look at the video! It's hilarious!

It's Been a Week Already?!
I can't believe it's been a week since my last post. That flew by so fast! Life is a bit more hectic now that Luke is here, but no excuses. I've been slacking on the blogging! Not much new to report. A few odds and ends that I need to post. Luke has had a bit of a cold so I took him to the pediatrician the end of last week. He had gained two pounds in two weeks!! I guess I don't have to worry whether he's eating enough! :) He is rapidly growing out of his 0-3 months clothes. I am so thankful that he is healthy. Also, we are leaving a week from today for a long trip to visit several family members. We are heading first to Wisconsin, then to Indiana, and hopefully onto Ohio. We will be returning on John David's birthday. That's another thing... can you believe he's about to turn four?! I know it shouldn't surprise me, but I'm still amazed at how fast the time goes by when you have kids. Anyway, back to the trip. The girls and I have not been to Wisconsin since July of 2007. Jeremy and John went this past July, and Jeremy was actually there again the beginning of this month for a very quick visit. He did his cousin's wedding, and from what I heard, did an excellent job. Wish I could of been there to see that. That's my amazing husband for you! We are all very anxious to see Jeremy's mom and Uncle Mason and Aunt Sasha. We also haven't been to Indiana in a year either, and I am very anxious to see my grandmother. Well, that's about it right now. I will try and take some more pictures of Luke and post them next week. Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for the fall weather (our favorite time of year).

A Decade of Memories
Jeremy and I have been married for ten years today! I can't believe that it has been an entire decade already. Time flies when you're having fun! Jeremy is by far my best friend, and I am so thankful that God brought us together. He is my hero, and someone I respect and admire. We have both grown and changed so much since that September day in 1998. We were 19 and 20, and full of dreams and ideas. After ten years and four kids, we have reached a point in our lives we never imagined when we got married. God has blessed us with more than we ever dreamed, and the perfect person to share it with. Here's to the next ten years, and all the adventures that the next decade holds for the Knutsons! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for an amazing husband!

R.I.P. Nibbles
Well, our hamster kicked the bucket today. I now have three VERY sad little kiddos. We've had this one for quite awhile, so they were a bit attached, especially Kylie. Three hamsters in four years isn't bad, I think. I'm not sure what happened. He was fine this morning. He was even climbing around and hanging on the bars of his cage. Around 4:00 this morning (I only know the time because I was up feeding Luke), Nibbles somehow tipped over his cage and it fell off the shelf. Kylie was worried, but he seemed fine, and I told the girls we would clean up the mess in the morning. We left the cage on the floor, and the girls went back to sleep. This morning while Kylie and I were cleaning up the mess, we realized that he had pulled the edge of their bedroom rug into his cage and chewed a bunch of it up. There were hot pink bits of yarn all over his cage. He is famous for this, and will pull anything he can reach into his cage and chew it to smithereens (I'm not sure that is how you spell that) from hair ribbons, to Sunday School papers, to Polly Pocket clothes. We cleaned up the mess and returned him to his shelf. After lunch, the girls discovered his lifeless body. When I entered the room, there was Caitlyn clutching him to her with a panicked look on her face. My heart broke at the sight of their faces. :( Nibbles must have either died from blunt force trauma from the fall, or maybe the rug he ate this morning didn't agree with him. I'm not sure, but he was a very loved hamster and will be missed. He was definitely the hairiest and friendliest hamster we have had. Looks like we'll be making a trip to the pet store in the near future! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty that we live longer than hamsters!

The Tooth Fairy Revealed
Our tooth fairy is a slacker! This whole tooth fairy thing is harder than it seems. I am ashamed to say that our tooth fairy has forgotten several times. According to Caitlyn, the tooth fairy does not come till at least the third night! One of the more recent teeth that Kylie lost was forgotten a number of times, and eventually the tooth fairy came during the day! We gave the girls several excuses, none of which made any real sense: the tooth fairy couldn't find the tooth, maybe she was sick, she was low on money, etc. Oh what a tangled web we weave! Actually, our tooth fairy has made a daytime tooth pickup a few different times. I think it is safe to assume that our tooth fairy does not function well at night. The last tooth that Kylie lost though was picked up the very first night, and in its place was deposited two dollars in quarters. So, I don't think that the tooth fairy should be fired just yet, but there is definitely some room for improvement! :) Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty who has for now blessed us with toothless girls.

Hallelujah!
Luke is four weeks old today! I am happy to say that we believe he has finally gotten his days and nights straight. The last three nights he has gone to bed around 10:30 and only gotten up once during the night to eat. Yeah!! He is growing like crazy, and as you can see form the pictures, he is getting a little chubby. :) His hair is still blonde as ever, and sticks straight up most of the time. He makes lots of little noises and grunts, and even laughs out loud in his sleep!

Sleepless Nights Take Their Toll
Jeremy and I have agreed: newborns are for young people, or at least youngER people. Luke has had some sleepless nights lately that are taking their toll on our aging bodies. :) I know, I know. We are not that old, but we feel older than we did when the other kids were babies, and we definitely need more sleep than we did in our early twenties. Don't worry though, we are not walking zombies, YET. The age old saying "Sleep when the baby sleeps" doesn't exactly apply to those of us with three other kiddos to tend to. :) We are all adjusting quite well to the baby, and the kids are doing great. Things can get a little hectic though from time to time, hence the fact that I have not posted in a week. Anyway, the new computer has a webcam in it, and I'm going to try it out here soon, and post some video to the blog. Also, we are finally getting close to starting school, and I should be ready in the next week or so. I have a post about the tooth fairy that I'm working on, and will try to get it finished and posted tomorrow. I am also determined to get some new pics posted by early next week. Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty who has for now blessed us with a night owl.

Wally World
I am on a roll! Since yesterday went so well, I decided to venture out to Walmart today with the kids. I had to pick up a few odds and ends, and thought that it would be a good time to try an outing instead of waiting till I went grocery shopping. It went very smoothly. Again, I didn't lose anyone, no one threw a fit, no one got ran over in the parking lot, no strangers tried to ogle the baby, and we only got a few "I feel sorry for you" looks from passersby. We made it in and out in under an hour! I am so proud of us!! I know this probably seems funny to most of you, but I have to admit that adding a fourth child was something I've been very nervous about. It's one thing to have three that can feed, bathe, and dress themselves, but an entirely different thing to add a newborn to the mix. I am so blessed! Well, back to the natives....Luke is starting the "I'm hungry" squirming. Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for my sanity!! :)

On My Own
Today is the first day since Luke was born that I have been home alone with all four kids! I am happy to report that I have not lost any of them, nor has anyone had a meltdown, YET. AT the moment, Caitlyn is quietly reading, and the other three are napping. Yeah!! We were all very surprised when Jeremy showed up at the house for lunch. I soon realized that he had come home to check and make sure that I was okay. How sweet! There are always some adjustments after a baby is born, but so far so good. Luke is sleeping pretty well. He has the typical occasional fussy nights of a newborn, but Jeremy's pitching in and that's a huge help. His umbilical chord fell off during the night on Sunday. The girls were very excited that he looked "normal" now! We are anxious to start school, but I have already decided not to start for a few weeks yet. We usually finish the school year early anyway, so I'm not worried about being behind. Well, I hear Luke so my time is up. Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty who has for now blessed us with these.

Luke is Two Weeks Old
Here's some pictures that Andrea took of Luke right before she left. Yes, she is sadly back in Tennessee, and we will miss her greatly! Her help was appreciated more than she will ever know, and the amazing pictures she took while she was here will be treasured. She is such a talented photographer, and we are so proud of her. Enjoy the pictures, and enjoy your Labor Day holiday! Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty who has for now blessed us with these.

The Motherboard is Toast
So it's been like two months since our computer went berserk. Now that the baby is here, and Jeremy had a few moments, he took another look at the computer. When nothing he tried worked, he decided to let the "Geek Squad" at Best Buy take a look. It took about two seconds for them to show him that the motherboard was not able to be saved. So, being the incredible husband he is, Jeremy got me a new computer that is so nice! I really love it, and I'm so excited to be back online and able to post when I want.
