The past several weeks have been quite busy, and just when I though it would slow down the calendar started to fill up again. I do have a few prayer requests that I am counting on my friends and family to help with.
1) Luke has been sick for about a week now. I took him to the dr Saturday morning and he has an ear infection. He is now on antibiotics, but his cough just seems to be getting worse. Please pray that the antibiotics will kick in soon, and that he will start to perk up. It's hard when they're this age and sick. All you can do is hold them.
2) We found out recently that Dupont is letting go 500 people at Jeremy's site. They are letting go 5 in Jeremy's department. There is only 11 people to start with. I keep telling myself that God will bless our faithfulness, but I am also aware that there are no guarantees, and these things happen. God knows!
On the good side, we have a huge praise! Luke has had a clogged tear duct in his right eye since birth, and the dr said that if it had not fixed itself by his checkup on the 27th, that they would send us to an ophthalmologist to do surgery. A few weeks back it seemed worse than ever, and I was stressing about what seemed to be inevitable surgery. Jeremy and I noticed though that over the past week and a half or so, his eye has stayed clear. It has had good bouts from time to time, but never for this long. We truly believe that God heard our prayers, and surgery is no longer needed. His eye looks better than it ever has! Another note: Luke is crawling everywhere! Today he disappeared on me, and I found him in his bedroom!
Love you all, and thank you to God Almighty for the Knutsons' prayer warriors!

Hello

Thanks
Jennifer
You have our prayers here for Luke and for Jeremy's job. God always has a plan, and He hears your prayers! Hang in there. God will take care of you no matter what happens.
I know that helpless feeling when the youngest is sick too. I'd much rather be sick myself than have the baby be sick. Will be praying the antibiotics help Luke feel better soon. There are a number of viruses going around too that I'll be glad to see go. We've had someone sick all winter here in our fam. Hooray for warm weather! :0)
I just wanted to let you know that I awarded you something in my blog! Check it out! http://moonnstarmommy.blogspot.com
{{Hugs}} to Luke! & you! I know how hard it is having a sick kid. I hope everything works out with Jeremy's job!! I know when Dennis lost his in Jan I could have cried - but we turned it into a positive thing.
